Like any charitable organisation, raising funds to maintain our service is a major priority. In the case of a radio station, running costs are high and to continue to provide the service we do to the patients, their families and the staff at the North Devon District Hospital we need to raise appreciable sums of money each year. No money is provided by the Hospital or Government funds, it is all raised by the members, and every penny raised is used to keep Tarka running! (Money need not be the only form of sponsorship; i.e. this website is sponsored by Brent Ltd with EPH Group).

We are fortunate to have some excellent corporate supporters who make an annual donation towards our running costs and in return are associated with one of our programmes. We hope that the exposure gained by our supporters via the listings in the local press and here on the world wide web helps to encourage their basic belief in the work that we do.
